A new judge has joined the panel of the British Furniture Association’s Future of Furniture Awards.

Amanda Moore, Managing Director of Achieve & Partners, has agreed to help judge the accolade’s Education category.

Achieve & Partners is a niche end-point assessment organisation, focused on the furniture, wood and merchanting industries.

Amanda will be drawing on years of experience in educational consulting to assess the entries.

The Future of Excellence in Education Award is one of four accolades that recognise outstanding work in the sector.

The others are the Future of Excellence in Sustainability Award, the Future of Excellence in ESG Reporting, and the Future of Excellence Sustainability Champion.

Jo Little, a sustainability expert at Planet Earth will continue to judge the sustainability entries.

The winners will receive their awards at a special reception at the BFA’s Furniture Component Expo, which takes place at the Telford International Centre on the 19-20 March, will be held to announce the 2025 winners.

The deadline for entries is 17 January, 2025. There are no restrictions on the number of categories BFA members can enter.

Phil Spademan, MD of the BFA, said: “Amanda and Jo bring a huge amount of expertise in judging the awards.

“Our message is to think about putting entries together in the New Year.

“There will be a good deal of promotion and recognition for the winners, not just from the awards’ event, but throughout the year, that makes the effort worthwhile.”
